How to debug The Auger Filler Operation System?

The Auger Filler Operation System is one of the very important components of the powder packing machine, which is responsible for metering and filling the powder product to be packed. We have mentioned the installation tutorial of The Auger Filler Operation System in the technical tips article of All-bloom before . Then after installation, how should we debug the equipment to ensure the packaging process is the middle and lowering accurate?

Turn on the power

First of all, we should first connect the filling servo motor, stirring motor and material level indicator (we often say “the photoelectric sensor” ) to the electric box. Then check whether the input power of each part matches the input power. Make sure there is no problem, then turn on the power again. This can avoid damage to electrical components due to incompatible power supplies. Because different servo motors and drivers have different ways of connecting wires, we won’t explain how to connect the wires in detail here.

Turn on the stirring motor

After turning on the power, turn on the stirring motor , and check whether the stirring direction of The Auger Filler Operation System is correct. If the direction is not correct, the power phase needs to be changed. If there is abnormal noise after starting the blender, it needs to be checked and eliminated.

Open the powder packing machine of APM’GT
After opening the packing machine, check the operation of the anger. Under normal conditions, the direction of the anger is opposite to the stirring direction. If there is abnormal noise after the filling servo motor is started, it needs to be checked and eliminated.
 
Observe the eccentricity between the anger and the material cup edge
Usually, after installing the anger, it is easy for us to put the material cup sleeve on the material cup holder. So if the anger and the material cup collide after the equipment is started, we can adjust the coaxiality between the anger and the material cup by adjusting the hexahedral hanger on the material box cover. But the premise is that we need to first ensure that the anger is not deformed. And don’t start the anger before fixing the material cup.
 
Adjust the gap between the anger and the mixer
By changing the anger assembly, the gap between the anger and the mixer for different filling weights can be adjusted. When replacing the anger, pay attention to the gap between the mixer and the anger, so as to avoid the deformation caused by the narrow gap between the anger and the mixer. When the anger is running, if the gap is too wide or too narrow, you can adjust the mixer to make the gap between the anger and the mixer appropriate.

Fixed pressure plate

However, when the customer’s packing accuracy requirements are relatively high, or the packing material is light and the material fluidity is poor, we need to fix the pressure plate on the anger.

Turn on the mixer and fill the servo motor for 5-10 minutes. If there is no problem with The Auger Filler Operation System, start the operation. In addition, the level of normal materials is 1/3~2/3 of the height of plexiglass. The height of the material put into the hopper shall not be lower than 1/3 of the height of the plexiglass, otherwise it will affect the material packing. Make sure that there is a certain space in the hopper. If the entire hopper is overfilled, the mixing system will be damaged.
